Payroll Customer Service Specialist

As a full-time payroll customer service specialist, you have the opportunity to ensure our clients receive the best service possible, promoting client retention and satisfaction. In an effort to keep our staff safe and healthy, this position is operating 100% remotely for the foreseeable future.

This position is responsible and accountable for delivering a quality experience and product to the client. Prior experience on the Evolution processing platform, or other payroll processing platforms, is a plus.


  • Ensure a superior customer experience by providing timely and accurate payroll processing and support
  • Manage an excess of 130+ accounts of various sizes and complexity
  • Provide customer service in new and current client inquiries and assist in resolution of problems
  • Maintain knowledge of current payroll practices and regulations, company products and services, and system/software changes
  • Produce reports as requested


  • 3+ years prior payroll service bureau experience preferred
  • Positive customer service and problem resolution skills are required
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize in a very fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to stay calm under pressure
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Evolution payroll experience a plus
  • Experience managing a full HRIS system a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • FPC preferred, not required

Salary commensurate with experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
