On Monday, June 22nd, 2020, New York City is expected to enter Phase 2 of its reopening, bringing back a wide range of businesses, including in-store retail, offices and hair salons and barbershops.
Businesses that are able to reopen are expected to follow New York State and CDC guidelines in relation to social distancing, suggested health checks of employees and preparing the workplace for employees to return. New York State expects all businesses to develop a COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan. Your COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan should include the ways in which you intend to comply with the New York State Department of Health guidance to safely reopen.
